The Farm Manager will be tasked with ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations, maintaining the farm’s equipment and infrastructure and implementing strategies to boost production and revenue. Working closely with both seasonal and permanent staff, the role demands strong leadership and organizational skills to coordinate the farm’s various functions effectively.
In addition to managing the farm’s operational aspects, the Farm Manager will be responsible for evaluating and arranging the necessary equipment and workforce requirements to meet the farm’s needs. Developing and executing marketing programs to enhance blueberry production and increase sales will be a key component of the role.
The successful candidate will also oversee the planning and application of pesticides and nutrients, ensuring that all activities are documented and that records are meticulously maintained.
